Behind the scenes work in the recording studio and we're literally trying everything out for the first time. Gareth Emery giving me direction and playing the piano and I'm reading and singing the lyrics from my phone. I love the entire creative music production process from initial tests through to the finished track .. it is so exciting and you get a sense of achievement. Then the big moment when it's released and you have no idea whether it'll be liked or not. Hope you enjoy this video and find this stripped down no frills version interesting x

I wrote 'Alone Together' inspired by those who were separated from and missing the person or people they love during Covid 'lockdown'. The forced isolation from our friends, family and normal social meetings was unnatural and traumatic, upsetting and emotional. The release of 'You'll Be OK' was so well received and everyone related to the lyrics. It is a song about positivity and the reality that life will go on and ultimately things will be ok, even when faced with the most adverse situations, which we are all experiencing on a global level right now. The song's message is so powerful a stripped down acoustic version was created to provide an alternative listening experience. Wow, wow, wow ... what can I say ... a totally surreal experience for me! Selected by Gareth Emery to be the vocalist was humbling, amazing and exciting .. The track has achieved so much and you never know when you're in the recording studio how it'll be received, however... - over 10 Million streams on Spotify - over 3.5 Million views on Gareth's YouTube page - No.1 on Beatport, - remixed by Giuseppe Ottoviani (No.1 on Beatport again) So many people have found a personal connection with the lyrics during this pandemic nightmare and drawn strength from the emotional but positive message this spreads. ELISE has such emotive lyrics that an acoustic version had to be done! I feel so privileged to be the vocalist on this track and the response has been amazing.
